Curtis and Libbie Reddic merit Scholarship- West Rusk H.S.
Merit Scholarship
The scholarship was created to recognize a West Rusk High School minority student who best represents the Reddic Family commitment to academic excellence, strong leadership traits, a respected citizen and one who is willing to serve others. Curtis S. Reddic served as president of the West Rusk High School Board for over twenty years. Both Curtis and Libbie believed in the power of a strong foundation in education and belief in Christ.
2023 Scholarship Recipient - Jimmie Harper- $1000
Jimmie Harper is the son of Jimmie Harper and Na'Keya Edwards. He plans on playing baseball at Tyler Junior College in the Fall of 2023. His goal is receive a trade in welding and work in the oil field someday.
